Football is practicing.

Basketball begins Monday.  I will be in the gym with about 50 kids Monday.

Are yall getting an influx of Cali kids? I know some of our panhandle coaches were worried about players going to GA and AL.

Not that I am aware of at this point.  I wouldn't be surprised if I see some Cali basketball players Monday night...we've had an influx of people from CA, unfortunately.

Board voted 11-5 to allow for sports to start on the 24th. There is an opt out clause to allow schools to set their own calendar.

Basketball commences Monday and we are at a higher level than we were prior to shutting down in June.  Now, we can actually scrimmage and do player on player drills.

This just in, Lakeland High has shut down for 2 weeks.  Apparently Hillsborough and Jefferson in Tampa have as well.
