To my fellow Lightning fans:

Any preference between the Islanders or Flyers in the EC Finals?

Nope ..... just have them go to 7 so we can rest/heal.

I don’t have a preference per say but in the regular season the lightning lost 2/3 to islanders but beat the flyers 2/3. Both will be tough opponents for sure

Only preference I'd have would be for Philly ..... having a 03-04 ECF vibe to it.

Im with you.  Never wish for an opponent.  Seems to usually bite us in the butt when we do that.

I love the toughness of this team no matter who we play.

Really great time to be a TB sports fan overall.

The Islanders scare me a little more.  Their Coach is very good imo.  Look at the Caps, they havent been the same since Trotz left yet the Isles have shot up since his arrival.

The ecf and wcf along with the stanley cup will be in Edmonton so whoever wins will have to travel from Toronto to Edmonton on Sunday to play the lightning on Monday

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
