Pretty sure she's not going there to play volleyball unless it's on the club/intramural level ...

Not inconceivable that she could be a libero or ds in that height range and get a scholarship. Notre Dame's top 10 volleyball recruiting class included a 5' 6" libero:

Hattie Monson
Hometown: Lisle, Illinois
Position: Libero
Height: 5-6

Monson was named a PrepVolleyball.com First Team All-American and Under Armour Second Team All-American in 2019. She was also ranked #38 on PrepVolleyball.com’s Senior Aces list. Monson earned First Team All-Illinois and Voyager Media Player of the Year honors as a junior in 2018.

On the international stage, Monson helped the 2018 U.S. Girls Youth National Team earn a gold medal at the NORCECA U18 Continental Championship.

 for you Trip.  For knowing anything about a libero and whatever it does (setter?).  I always enjoyed playing and watching volleyball but only knew the positions as “over there” or “in that corner.”  I may have learned something today.

Good point, every football team has a kicker.  I only went to the games to stare at their asses.
