When I played highschool and D3 ball I used just a normal Oakley visor and it was impossible to keep it from getting smudges and whatnot on it during a game. I could only imagine how terrible that thing would be, especially during night games with bright lights shining down on you.

Possibly a small solar powered windshield defrost unit that blows cool air to keep it clear. Of course there will now need to be some sort of windshield wiper device in case they are playing in rain. Soon it will look like football players uni's will resemble chainmail possibly we are moving full circle??
