Your boy has a new job and gets to stay in Tampa. It's good to have an ex-coach in that school. I'm sure it will have it's benefits. It's time for him to prove himself.

Best of luck to him. I always liked him. Maybe he'll come back to USF again in the future.

Guess he could not land an assistant coach position in the state.

I would imagine that's a big part....with budgets facing pressure, not sure many would be hiring...

I'm glad for SK but I'm Not too sure about benefits for us (USF).  If I was SK, it would be difficult for me to be a big USF proponent since the current Head Coach staffing plan is the reason why he was not retained.

Not "retained", he was not "fired" by this staff. CJS didnt retain anybody so it wasnt personal.

That’s like saying “he isn’t dead”...”he’s just resting in the ground” 😂😂

Still 2 different things. lol I follow SK on twitter and he is still pro-USF and still interacts with the current players. My point is, this could benefit our IMG pipeline in a positive way. I just dont see SK as being bitter.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
