True but there is no guarantee that those people would want to spend it on those “better things.”

So your theory is "whales" sit on their pile of cash until a coach needs to be sent packing before the end of their contract, but wouldn't spend it on athletic endeavors like say an IPF? 

We have finally solved the problem with USF's athletic fundraising woes.  The heavy hitters are all saving their cash for CBG, CBM, and CJS buyouts .... and each of their successors of course, etc.

Actually my theory is people sit in cash until their is an emergency. Nothing screams emergency than a ****** coach. Those whales are more likely to spend to stop the desecration of a program than they are an IPF. True they may spend but they will spend more to get rid of a coach.Last, nothing really applies to USF...we po from many perspectives.
