Kyle, to answer your question about Flowler and BBD, the land is protected because there is some sort of burrowing animal or insect that is on the endangered species list. I could be wrong, but i remember hearing about that a while back.

South Carolina does play on campus...it might not be in the middle of everything but it is on Campus owned property about a mile from my best friend's dorm.

UCLA cannot play on campus for the same reason Miami can't...no room. They are talking of building their own stadium across from campus.

Once again, for the viability of this football program we're gonna need an OCS...maybe not right now...but in 5-10 years we need to have the plans drawn and an idea of a groundbreaking date.

South Carolina's stadium is on property owned by USC, but I don't believe it is, "on campus"  As you said it is about a mile from everything else.

I agree a mile and 15 miles is a huge difference.

I just don't see it being a NEED for the viability of the football program? Everybody WANTS one but to say the balance of our football program in 5 or 10 years will hang on whether we have an OCS is absurd, IMO.
