If they can make a movie about 911 ans shoot seems of the towers collapsing.  They can make a movie about anything.  As long as money is being made sadly.

You are right. I just feel for the families. But yes, a buck is a buck and they are rarely turned down.

Do you think the family’s of the lone survivor felt the same way?  No they did not, their story is told and they are memorialized.  We all gots to go and when we can celebrate a hero and those that checked our early then that is a win for all of those involved, I like that they are remembered and their story is told.

I agree its an inspirational story about one of our own - of guts, perseverence and survival.  The ones that didnt make it is very sad.  But life goes on.

True but that does not negate the fact that the family who was adversely impacted won’t feel bad. If I was them I would not really give a **** who survived when mine did not. I suspect they are not acting as cavalier as one day we all have to go.

They died before their time so of course they feel bad, I do too, bad things happen and I have lost loved ones early.

You make a good point.  But on the flip side.  They fought rill the end and their names will always be memorialized through this movie.

Otherwise it was just another News story which people quickly forget.

Okay, considering the state of my memory this may be completely off base, but wasn't there some controversy about this that came up at one point?

Anytime you go out on a boat and less people come back than go out people are going to create some controversy.

Cooper's dad was a TV sports guy in Phoenix.  He reacted as some fathers might, that his kid wouldn't be the one to succumb.  Sad.  None of us know what happened.  Just like the other story out here about the 19 hotshots that died.  One lived and he has felt forsaken because of that.
