I am just glad we have options. The cupboard was bare last year.

I more concerned about our RB situation. There is nothing there to get excited about.

I think it will be ok ..with Johnny Ford moved back to rb full time and Joiner didn't look bad for a freshman with a bad offensive line.

They are both on the small side. JF certainly is not an every down back. I would not be shocked to see JF quit before the season even starts as he is a moody person.  I just have a bad feeling about the running game.

I am with you and with a porous offensive line we will spread it out and use Noah as Q and as a third back.  On the bright side we should be down early and big In most games so establishing a run game won’t be in the cards anyways.

We quickly added a bunch of quality depth to the position of the past year...I was learning on Fortin and still am although Johnson could be the winner...McCloud could even push...the kid was really under developed and hadn't played the position very long...

Agree he isn't a every down back and moody as hell..

Had a td vs Auburn, Felix has some decent size and great speed...could for sure be a contributor at rb.

Is he eligible this year or not, my lazy research uncovered nothing.  He is a baller but will he play this year?

It's a wide open competition. I wouldn't be surprised to see anyone out of Fortin, Johnson, McCloud, or Smith. It's all going to be about who can grasp and execute the system the quickest with limited practice time.

I thought he was a grad transfer but we have him 2 years...so maybe not eligible immediately unfortunately.
