Chad will probably be in this paid position next season ... but who knows ... the Offensive coaching may get a overhaul.

I think we need an experienced and seasoned qb coach to make the position

better. And i think it would help with recruiting because they meet a coach who can talk to them and knows what to say and not say

To endow anything, whether it be a professorship, scholarship, or coaching position, you can assume a 4 percent payout.  So for every $100,000 in the endowment, that creats $4,000 in spendable income.  Depending on what that position would make, you can then figure out how much is needed to endow that position.

Example, if said QB coach is to make $100,000 (nice easy number), and enowment of $2.5 million would be needed.  If anyone would be interested in discussing this further, I'll be more than happy to sit down with you.

Eric

One of the advantages of having Eric around...he can generally lay down some facts that clear up some pretty nebulous ideas.  Eric...let us know if you ever have a face-to-face on this issue... ;)

I wonder if its even possible to endow a coaching position.

My question is:

How do you know our QB coach isnt already well endowed?

Also, why would we want to know about such things....

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.

“In my mind, I’m kind of like, ‘OK, excuses over'. We know what we need to do. We’ve got the right team together, and now we move forward, and we’ll evaluate and be accountable to each other, including myself, from this point forward.”
