Sadly, we had to go through the revised process this year for our youngest, watching the names scrolling by. Wasn't paying attention the whole time but was fortunate to see Q's and Antun's (with a lot of accents on letters above his name) and brought a smile knowing what they meant to the hoops program. In addition to the football names above, saw Nadelman's for a Master's and Mitch's, which I assume must have been for something post grad also.

Congrats, Trip.  That's a great achievement for your young'n and I am sure you played no small part in it.

If by "played no small part in" you mean "in spite of" ....... absolutely.

Why would kids that didn't come to games as students buy season tickets?  This is USF's main problem.  For whatever reason students don't connect to our sports.

You are so right. We’ve almost always sucked in fan support. Read what BB coach Lee Rose said many, many years ago:

“All this school has ever had is a bad image. We’re trying to give it a **** positive one. Get behind us!” ― USF men’s basketball coach Lee Rose, grabbing a Sun Dome microphone after a 1984 win against UNC-Charlotte to rip the lack of fan support (from the Orlando Sentinel)

I always remembered the McKay quote as a response to the execution of his offense ....
