Ok I know it sucks but there is nothing we can do about it the WV game has been moved to 12/3 lets move on next on the list is Rutgers which beat Pitt and are not as bad as everyone though at the beginning of the season. So what are the top three things we need to do to win?

1. Stop the run (they have a big fullback that can carry the pill)

2. Run the ball and use the play action ( Here that Rod P-L-A-Y-A-C-T-I-O-N)

3. Let our defensive unit do what they do best make big plays

I don't think most people thought rutgers was going to be aweful at the beginning of the season... they are loaded with florida talent.

Rutgers looked good opening day at IL, but folded.

Looked pretty good last week.

Best thing about playing Rutgers is they are more run oriented.  Pitt/Palko used the 3step drop pass to open the run.  Expect the same vs. Rutgers the difference will be Palko is the best gunslinger in the BE.  Bad thing is they have the second best BE scoring defense.  UCONN is first.  USF is fourth.

Those #'s are skewed a bit on UConn, since they haven't played a tough schedule.

Saw RU play WVU a few weeks ago. WVU ran the ball very well on them (236 on the ground) and got them down early, but RU fought back and got back in the game.

What killed Rutgers was turnovers. They had 4 total (3 INT and 1 Fumble), one of which lead to one of WVU's TDs. Another one of WVU's TDs was a blocked punt deep in RU territory that was returned for a score.  

They switched to a true freshman QB against 'Cuse who threw for 203, 2 TD and 2 INT.

When everyone thinks of Rutgers they think joke, cause thats what they've been for years, but with the way we've played the past couple of games, combined with the layoff (we saw how much that week off helped us last weeked) we would be very foolish to chalk this one up as a W and have visions of grandure heading into Dec. 3

We will have played 1 game in 34 days prior to going into Rutgers.  That really scares me in terms of being rusty and not getting playing time.  Snaps and plays in practice only go so far.
