Watching his video reels on Rivals, it seems he runs a base offense...Many of the clips were two back two receiver play-action passes, good looking arm, nice mobility, could have run the ball many times but threw downfield instead....Looks like a drop back passer that has the wheels to run if needed

Rivals has him listed as a two-star athlete.

If that is the case....sounds GREAT to me!

it is always amazing that all other scouts look at him as playing another position, but we take him as a QB....  this pattern is getting annoying

Yeah, I mean we had Blackwell, who other scouts wanted at another position, and we know that didn't turn out too well.   ::)  ::)  ::)

Its amazing that during a time of problems at the QB position that people are ******** that QB's are committing to USF.

How is that a problem... if he doesn't work out at QB, at least give him the opportunity and then move him to the other position the bigger schools wanted him at.  If he works out, AWESOME!

Right now, the more QB's we have that played for good teams, the better!

I think the point being made isn't why are we taking a kid who may/may not be suited to play QB.  The point is, why are we not getting kids who are rock solid, locked in QBs?  We desperately need a "pure" QB, not a "tweener" who may or may not work out.
