Hahaha, maybe the game that WVU needs to clinch the title,but we'll be 4-6 by that time.

They have to decide something by Thursday night, so WVU can cancel its flight and hotels, they wont have them come INTO danger...

I just heard from a reliable source that the game will indeed be postponed.  An official announcement will be made probably tomorrow, if not by the end of today.  This is a done deal.  USF administration isn't taking any chances considering how unpredictable Wilma is.  Sorry, to be the bearer of bad news.

Florida weather ... just bought my tickets today

I just got back from the Sundome in Tampa; I purchased my tickets for the game on Saturday (WVU has sold all of their alloted tickets for the game) and asked them about the weather and the game.

They said for all intensive purposes, expect the game to start at its scheduled time, except in two cases.

no game if (1) The hurricane directly impacts the game at the stadium and the safety of the people at the game. And, I asked more specific questions.

* The game would be canceled IF the hurricane landfalls at, on, or near St. Petersburg, FL, or it landfalls at downtown Tampa, FL, in Tampa Bay.

** Expect the game to be played (not canceled) on Saturday if the hurricane landfalls in southwest Florida between Sarasota and Key West.

no game if (2) The Governor of Florida shuts down the state.

[EDIT] They suggested people bring a raincoat just in case of rain.
