And with you back in the fold, the Mad Cow is not for the faint of heart.  :)  Although, your celebrations of Obiden would be fun to read.

It is, with all the Californians fleeing to AZ for affordable housing.

In this down time from Sports we can still talk about sports history, although some of our more vocal members believe only the "now" matters.

And now, there's not much.

While we are practicing social distancing, the main board is still open for sports past, present and future.

The Mad Cow, @smazza has expertly advertised, is a mostly unmoderated forum that in the past has resulted in bloody knuckles (figuratively) and hurt feelings - it's often the far left against the far right with outcomes expected.  Many have asked for access...please remember, no spillover to other boards of the contentious discussions or hard feelings created in the Cow.  In fact, I hope it doesn't show up there, but there has some nasty closed mindedness on that board, even by the elites.

Also, for non-sports banter there is The Trough, a much lighter board for news stories, jokes, etc.  The typical topics better suited for division among Bulls fans should stay on the Mad Cow, i.e. politics, etc....

Also, don't forget to visit, or start a club with the topic of your choice.

And of course, while we have down time, anyone wishing to make a run at their own blog, can do so here:

If as you're looking around and you have some ideas to keep folks engaged and thinking about things other than toilet paper and the Walking Dead, let me know.  Perhaps we can throw something fun or informative into the mix while we await our destiny.

Go Bulls!

Some might say too well.  Since I moved to AZ some 17 years ago, it's been a constant influx of people from California coming here to raise families.  I've had some join our company at a reduction in pay just so they could sell their house in California ($) and get out.  The real estate market in your region really seems to squeeze out many in the middle class.

Not even knowing what the Mad Cow Lounge was I requested a sign in password. Thanks Brad for the quick response. After my first visit, although extremely brief, I won't be going back. I joined because I thought it was going to be a place to get away from all the angst,  hate and divisiveness we have in our lives today. The whole first page of threads was political blathering nonsense created by someone named Smazza. It was unreadable. Wasn't aware of The Trough either. I'll give that a visit.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
