Isn't that the one school we can't recruit because we hired one of their coaches?

Pretty sure that's the one. He is not an on field coach, thus the ban.  Pretty sure it is 2 years. We'll be able to sign kids that are currently Sophomores.

Why then would we ever hire a coach from one of the "premier" Florida high school football schools?

Just a 2 year moratorium.  If he was hired as an on field guy we could sign their kids. It is to prevent things like we did hiring a kids personal trainer to some made up position to get him to sign here (believe it was Gus Gilchrist in MBB).

I mean I get that but have we ever signed a starter from Lakeland? is zero really that much worse than 1. It could be that this sets a pipeline than lands more lakeland kids than we were ever going to see.
