My take on PJ

Recommended Posts

I think PJ has all the physical tools to be a D-1A QB.

His mechanics are awful.  He has an awkward release (that's late) which is why half of his passes end up in the dirt or very low.

He even does it during warmups if you watch him.

That is the fault of the QB coach there

truth is, sadly, that we gotta hope PJ gets settled in for the rest of the season.  Our season is halfway over and a QB change now would be more harmful than helpful.  Our "backup" has completed, what 6 passes? 5/6 to the opposing team.

I have heard people comment about the simplistic offense Rod Smith has in place. If that is true, then it's pretty scary to hear that a Qb is not smart enough.

Every pass he throws is a jump ball.....or a dive ball.......or a stretch ball............or a reach ball..............or a ground ball.

Yeah but Peyton can only catch those kind...   When it's right to him, it ends up bouncing right out of his hands.

Anybody know PJ personally? I am available all week to help him practice his passing as I am sure most of the other posters on this board are.

Can we get him out on the field for some "unofficial" practice??
