This is entirely speculation on the CJL part, but with Tucker leaving at this point in the year, you would have to wonder if Leavitt would be a strong candidate. I think it could his best chance.

ya know because we haven't had a good CJL talk in a while.

Levitt, enjoys Florida and wants to be in the sunshine state. I don't think him or Taggart are going anywhere for the next 3-5 years. For the first time in both of their careers, they actually inherited a good team. I  think both of them want to ride that team out first b4 they move on.

I would much prefer him be in Colorado over FAU.

Problem for Leavitt is that he has tried to move on for years and could never get a chance. If he gets this one and turns it down, he is basically accepting that his HC days over. That's not the case for Taggart.

If he is such a great head coach then I am sure Colorado will hire him in a heartbeat.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
