I'm not really sure how many of us there are here ............... but electricity and running water have definitely improved the standard of living since then.

I have lived in Tampa since 2000. The most amazing thing is the skyline. So many tall buildings now that it looks like a real city

I was born and raised there.  Now I live in Bradenton so I get up there a lot.  More when my son was an undergrad at USF.  The growth is unreal, but they still were able to maintain a soul, unlike the town the mouse built to the northeast.

I was born here, as was my mom.  I remember my grandfather, who was a postman here, tell me that any carrier could take any other carrier's route when they were sick.  They lived in the 'suburbs' of Seminole Heights.
