Yeah, not sure I could hold up. The GT game last year was miserable for me until I moved to the shade. Maybe I can look for tickets on the Texas side...

It is in the upper level and It will be similar to the GT game, we were on steel bleachers in Atlanta so I will go on record that it will not be any hotter, however it won’t be any cooler either.  They at least will be serving beer and the concourses are much nicer if you want to hang out in the shade.  Tailgating is very very good and fans are friendly, even more so after they hand us our ass.  It is an interesting place, the downtown is getting freaky and the panhandlers are aggressive however if you have not been it will be worth your while.

Times we've been at the same hotel they've been Marriott's.  But honestly don't know if they even know at this point.

There is a nice JW Marriott right downtown that I may stay at, once they hear that I am sure they will follow.

I cant think of any game hotter or worse than the gators game.  My god now that was hot, the section we were sitting in, people were passed out in the walkway from the heat.  Thanks for the info, I'm pretty sure the wife and I are going

Or the hotel won't be as nice once you check in.    You just made it too easy.

If we make the trip my wife has made it pretty clear she isn't going to the game itself.  We both are interested in seeing the city.  But we could do that when the weather is better.  Still undecided.
