Funny joke, but lets not act like we didnt lose mad recruits. Lets also not act like CJS is bringing in a bunch of 4/5 star recruits either. He brought in 4 transfers that didnt get any playing time and a bunch of recruits that was rated lower than CCS recruits. Im actually estatic about the players he brought in, but on paper he hasnt done nothing extravagent. Im happy we have CJS but let the man earn his praise.  Also just b/c somebody was a fans of the previous coaches doesnt mean that they hate or dislike CJS.

and let’s not act like anyone of those past coaches have actually won a conference championship....and this is all that matters.

No problem. Figured some didn't know about that board over there so I tried to be discreet about pointing it out ...

A realist!!!

However, let him work the portal to get some lineman and should be fine. Oh, he better get a safety or he will be on the hot seat early.

**** Corey, you troll Nick hard and not sure why.  He is nothing special but does not deserve the shade and not worthy of the criticism, we suck with him and without him.  Not sure if you feel he is too light or there is another reason but do us a favor and please exit this board, you are not a fan so go troll another board.

I'm here to do a welfare check on the Leavitt/Taggart hawkers.

Everything good? Good.

When CJS hits 100 wins and knocks off multiple top 25 teams in front of sellout or near sellout crowds he can be called the greatest. He has yet to coach a game. He is recruiting but we need to see his results. I hope he can top the CJL era but he has a long road ahead of winning to put himself into that conversation. You know who else could talk a big game and recruit? Butch Jones. Lets hope CJS is closer to CJL than Butch.Image result for butch tennessee

Is CJS really talking a big game though? It’s not like he’s appearing on every media show saying we’re going to win a conference championship in year 1.

Don’t confuse optimism with cockiness. There’s a stark contrast between the way Butch Jones operated and how CJS has handled himself throughout his career

All he has to do is win a conference championship and he passes Jimbo just like that.

Well I'm pretty sure you are not my dad!!!  LOL

The fact still remains, the D needs a safety in the worst kind of way.

Agreed.  CJL is still the greatest until he is not.  And he will always be most special because he created the program.

That said CJS has a real chance to be the best ever in the future.  He is the real deal.
