Coming to Cuse apparently as our CO-OC or OC.

I know he had great success with Flowers.  Cuse has a QB with a great arm but not nearly the escapability of Quinton.

What were his good and bad points at USF as OC?  Any tendencies or go to plays?  Thanks in advance

Sorry this is happening to you.

He came from Texas with Chuck though. I’m not sure Gilbert has ever been in the same room as Tags. Gilbert will do ok at Cuse, pretty sure he was running what he was told to run here.

He sucks donkey balls and took away Qs talents vs improving them

If he doesn't have a playbook, how does he call a HB Dive?

Maybe it is a play short story or novella

Has CWT ever met Sterlin? In order to take him with him wouldn’t he have had to have been here with him at some point?

Plus, Taggart doesn't hire people who have a chance of being hired away by someone else.

These still give Gilbert too much credit. Maybe he has a play-coin; heads - hb dive, tails - deep ball.

The best thing I can say about Sterlin is he isn’t Kerwin Bell.

But Bell gave out a playbook. That seems to be Gilbert's #1 shortcoming as a coach, if I'm reading this thread correctly.

I care about results and I do not care if we called 5 plays and if they were written down on napkins because lethal simplest got more results than deadly complex.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."

    Terry Lucas, 09/26/22

“In my mind, I’m kind of like, ‘OK, excuses over'. We know what we need to do. We’ve got the right team together, and now we move forward, and we’ll evaluate and be accountable to each other, including myself, from this point forward.”

    Michael Kelly
