I think good coaches work with what is in place and do not try to jam in a scheme results and players be damned. If you have a goal offense in place and want to work towards that as you get the players in to run it, sure knock yourself out. However if you have none of those players and you want to go from 4-8 to 0-12 because it’s part of your process, well then you suck your process sucks, you aren’t a very good coach and you and your system are the problem and not the players that are actually here.

If all we have to look forward to is playing in the AAC I would argue life isn’t short enough.
