Yeah Lawrence proved his legs can beat you.  That's pretty much definition of dual threat.

That's all the threat you need!  It gives a defense fits.

You think we are going to beat a team that completely blew out a team that completely blew us out with only 1 shorthanded recruiting class? We will be fortunate to get out of boca with a W.

New year, new coaches for both teams, new players. Anything is possible...but I would be happy with a 1point win.

For realz

We will never have the capabilities for a pocket passing QB.

How many times do we need to try this failed experiment?

We need to mentally prepare for a losing season next year.

Not trolling, just stating the truth though it hurts.

Yet, he's considered a pro-style QB.

To be fair, I didn't know either before I watched the Fiesta Bowl.

Once again, we will not be playing a pro-style, pocket offense. We will be playing an RPO offense with designed runs for the QB.

Our failures as an offense aren't so much the offensive line even if you have the best one you still need to get that ball out quick.

Many of the sacks were a result of a qb holding onto the ball way to long cause he couldn't find a receiver open or we just have a crappy offensive plan of attack or maybe the QB just wasnt use of passing from the pocket.

I watched a little of the ND USF game recently just to see what a USF offense use to look like and it was quick passes to the outside, read option, bubble screens this is what we should have been running this year.   I have no clue what we were trying to do this season but it was complete crap and I have no doubt that a competent coach will get this offense looking quite respectable in one season.

Even if we were in the 60-70 range on offense that would be a huge improvement in one season.

However, our WRs were terrible blockers. The times we ran quick passes to a WR it blew up quickly. This is something that has to be worked on next year.

Yes our blocking was terrible from the receivers.  We  had a few bigger receivers so I am going to blame the past coaches.  Receivers and blocking were a big part of what made a 10 yard run turn into a 30+ yard run.

I so can't wait to for the spring to start and make this offense forget everything Bell was trying to do.

Agreed, I never troll, this next season is going to be rough. Not a lot of talent or conditioning on the roster
