Boca's not far away , maybe we can get about 10,000 of us to make the trip, , show the father of USF football some love , and then beat their asses.

We showed up well last time we went down and played in Lockhart stadium. They played us tough, had a qb named Rusty something that was pretty good.

Except I don't know how many times it needs to be repeated, CJS runs an RPO offense, not an under center, 7 step drop offense.

So far, it appears that all of the candidates to be our starting QB can run.

So that's a good offense if you have no OL and an immobile QB?

Yup Clemson had a run of Dual threat guys before Lawrence. People act like they've had a long line of pocket passers before Lawrence. It kind of funny

They ran Boyd, Watson, and Bryant plenty before Lawrence (or at the same time in Bryant's case) . Lawrence is the outlier in the  offense (and can you blame them?) and even then they took full advantage of running their QB in the most important game they played all season up to last week. CJS knows how to utilize a dual threat guy and Clemson has recruited more than their fair share. It may feel like Lawrence has been there forever but a quick look at their offenses over the years shows he's the anomaly not the standard

As of right now, we don't have an immobile QB, like I stated in the post you quoted.

Even Lawrence can run.

See above about Lawrence. Did no one on here watch the Clemson - OSU game?

Lawrence ran a bunch vs Ohio State more than I bet McCloud did in any game.

Looked it up...he ran 16 times and those were designed runs not breakdown in protection runs.

Yeah Lawrence proved his legs can beat you.  That's pretty much definition of dual threat.

Rusty Smith. Was actually drafted in the sixth round by the Tennessee Titans

Yet, he's considered a pro-style QB.
