they really need to expand the playoffs

hard to believe the pac 12 is ok with this year after year

PAC12 is so competitive that their champion keeps ending up with two losses.

This is exactly why the 4, "best" teams in the playoffs is a joke.  If your conference has depth, your champion has a shot of one or two losses.  While Clemson proved they belong in the semis, the rest of the ACC is weak.  The Big 10 has a perceived strength, but I don't really see it.

That's why there should be an 8-team playoff with the 5 P5 conference champs, the highest rated G5 champs, and 2 at-large teams.
