Macon’s waiver for 6th season denied

It’s a shame for this young man. As someone else said, Macon was one of the very few bright spots this year. On another team in another era he’d be regarded as one of the Bulls greats. He seems to have a passion for USF Football and I wish him all the best of luck at the next level!

He did pretty good this season. I think he has a shot to have a nice career in the NFL.

I think he may be a step slow, we will see, either way it is too bad because we certainly could have used him.  Corey Lea said his sixth year was a sure thing so I was already counting on him being back, not sure what happened.

The NCAA rarely grants a 6th year to a player that already sat out a year for non injury reasons.

Was really hopeful you'd be back next year, we sure needed you , but on to bigger and better opportunities in the NFL , good luck sir.
