Brad Scott. Where his experience is and believe I remember reading he was to be an on field coach.

I doubt this. Brad Scott has had an off-field role for quite some time at Clemson and would not expect that to change at USF.

I don’t know anything specific but one of the Clemson fans suggested maybe Thomas Austin, OL coach at Georgia State. They still have a bowl on 12/31 so if that is the choice that would make sense we wouldn’t hear about it until then.
