I mean it’s a TE coach...we don’t really use those guys anyway.

We turn them into very fine blockers.

some of the rumors are too, alot of guys getting their first taste at this level here witha head coach who has never lead a program. Not much experience on the staff so far. I also really hope there is a former head coach on staff other than his father. I love the hire of Scott but am concerened with the staff he is putting together. That could change when the rest is announced.

your concerns are valid

this is an inexperienced staff but usf has decided to go in a different direction

i am putting all my faith in coach scott--- so many people have vouched for him, he is inspiring and he clearly knows football

I am asking this, because i don't honestly know.  How much experience did the staff have at UCF when they hired Frost?  Dabo at Clemson?  Riley at Oklahoma?  CJS spent years under a coach, that was only to be the interim, who took a mediocre team in Clemson and turn them into a perennial National Championship contender.  We've tried the, "prior head coach route".

i am with apis

i like the direction and like the contrast with usf's other hires

i am all in

Yeah Coach Weis just coached an All American at FAU who had 65 catches and a 1000 yards. The second te had 38 catches.

Ridiculous how we wasted Wilcox dude should have been targeted min 8-10 times a game.

Yep...will probably end up costing him $$$ in the draft.

So bad I thought the coaching staff must have had an agenda against him.

It’s because we needed him to be an extra blocker. Our O line was terrible.

Dabo will probably still be on his Contacts list on his phone.

I'm not sure why people might not realize that Dabo may be helping CJS vet these guys.  I'm certainly no expert, but I trust those that there are those being consulted who are.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
