I think he likes being in Florida with his family, and he has a good relationship with Taggart, and he is familiar recruiting the spots FAU recruits. 
 

Look at the landscape, Money and prestige aside, FAU has many intangible benefits which Leavitt probably values more than money. 
 

Even if he had zero other options, FAU is not a bad gig in my view.

FAU just upgraded from Lane Kiffen.  Now they are going to have a defense to go along with their high powered offense.  

This could of been the combination for us.  Still think CJS in the long run is a better fit for us.  Although maybe not in time for this game.  Excited to go to Boca for this one.
