I wonder when, if ever, CJS will institute the no transfer, no JUCOs policy?  The reason i ask is because FSU signed Tate Rodemaker and Chubba Purdy.  If they're both as good as everyone thinks, it's likely that one will end up transferring.

It won’t happen, with the portal  it is too easy to  lose and also acquire  talent.  We are a G5 school that no matter how well we recruit will always have holes to fill.  I would refer to Corey Lea on the specifics, once he finishes spooning with Charlie he can elaborate further on the wonders of the portal.

He would be crazy to do that...this is G5.

People are as loyal as their options so when the roster is filled with talent better than anyone in the portal and the portal doesn’t take away talented players that need replaced CJS will stop using it. I have Nevuary 32nd circled on my calendar.

I know everything that you guys are saying, but he stated that was the route that he wanted to go. I don't know if he'll ever get there, but that is what he wants.

I can see him not accepting transfers from prior commits that went elsewhere. I can see him accepting transfers from guys who didn’t originally commit to us, and I’m 100% ok with that. I don’t like how the Rodemaker thing played out.

Yea now that I could agree with.

But we will never anytime soon be in a position to turn down quality talent.

Absolutely not, but at the same time this isn’t a position we’ll have to worry about for at least a year. I highly doubt any transfers we see In the next few months at USF will be prior USF commits
