Correct.  The ranking is based on total points, which the number of signees factor into.  Not necessarily the quality.

Just curious if anyone knows how Navy's recruiting works exactly. Usually teams average around 20-25 recruits for each recruiting cycle. Navy usually has around 80 (76 this year). How many players are on their roster if they're pulling in THAT many every year?

I think next season we'll go as far as our o-line takes us. Jennings, Cecil, and Hopple are a nice foundation but we need to focus big time on bringing in more talent there over the next few months.

it is shocking how bare the cupboard is

strong and his coaches deserved to be canned

they got fat and lazy

It would be nice if CJS could flip Miller Merriweather-Lewis and Gentle Hunt back to USF. We could use  a 4 star olineman and a 300Ib athletic DT.

As far as the DT, what about Juco DT Sione "John" Tuitupou?  He doesn't like to tackle QBs, he like to see how far he can plant one in the ground.  @El_Toro_86 posted this on the recruits board:

Big 6’5” 290 DT.  Not a lot of offers but seems quick and strong

Lazy is being polite my friend. They did nothing but blame the players for not being strong enough and not prepared for 2 straight seasons.

He's my favorite recruit so far. I saw one highlight where he **** near flew in the air to tackle somebody. I still would like one more big DT.

One thing this program has been historically missing is an Hawaiian or Samoan presence. This could be a sign.

This is a quote..hope it helps.. if you haven't found out already..  "Scholarship limits are waived for the service academies as all students receive full scholarship + stipend packages from the US Government as a result of attending the academy. Thus there's no such thing as an athletic scholarship to a service academy."

Same with the Ivy League.
