Nice. Hope he has mobility (seems to have a little speed).

Agreed and this will be helpful with a questionable OL. But when the DBs start pressing we will still need the WR to get separation on longer patterned which was inconsistent at best last year. Got to get the OL and WR recruits IMO.

If the QB can stand absolutely motionless he will be effectively invisible and the poor OL won't be an issue.

How can that be?  I heard on here that CJS wasn't recruiting.

Assuming the WRs can get open next year you are correct

How about we stick a WR at QB, that should add a new wrinkle

Oh wait . . . we already tried that

KB should have shown coach Scott the Daily Stampede Videos that proved despite any tangible results he was actually doing everything flawlessly, then he would have understood.

We don't have the Orlando school's resources... They have an ocs and an athletics culture + more money. I see a more realistic protection being 2-3 wins next year, 6-7 the year after that and maybe competing for the conference year 3. Next year we will be trotting out a lot of back ups from this year's team. We graduated some key talent and aren't really reloading it seems.

I don't agree.  5 years ago we were too good to play them.  Hell they had fewer people showing up at their games then we do now.   They passed us by and haven't' looked back.  Good coaching and recruiting is what got them to where they are now.  We could have done the same as they and settled for a "Pinto" style stadium  but we want a "Cadillac" instead and have a decent pro stadium to use in the meanwhile.  Win and everything else will come.

2 things I gleaned from today.

1 - Coach has never worked the transfer scene

2 - He made it clear in an interview he is looking for players to fit his scheme (rather than vice versa)

Don't get me wrong I am not only on the Scott train, I'm happy to push the thing. I just wanted to note these tidbits. Temper expectations while he learns and gets his people.
