But, I just don't see a kid who's played as many games as Franks has signing on for a rebuild at a losing program. Will it be a "rebuild" in this conference if we bring in a legit QB? I'm not sure Edited December 9, 2019 by chapelbull

I think we need more of a dual threat QB. Hey Clemson, you got any more of them Deshaun Watsons? there's a few in their recruiting class but I don't think they will go for it. He's an upgrade no matter how you look at it though.

He won't come unless Scotts convinces him we can make the NY6. The skills are there, he would need a plan on how to protect him. But in the same sentence who knows if Felipe will take the time to break it down instead of looking at our raw numbers.

I think the o line gets magically better with scheme and qb play. But I would think it is a longer shot. I just don't see a Jalen Hurts to OU type scenario

Clemson has always gotten the ball out quick. they are not known for big o-line. quote from article They’ve always been at their best at spreading the ball around to speedy skill players and winning matchups on the perimeter. They aren’t stocked with the sorts of OL, TE, or FBs to consistently overpower. https://www.sbnation.com/college-football/2018/9/27/17900934/trevor-lawrence-clemson-new-starter-quarterback
