Nothing against Jim, I would have been fine with him being hired. My comment was more directed towards those who use the bowl thing to point out the Taggart was no good.

6 year old video of him running WR drills. I am not sure how it will translate into a head coach but it sounds like he is actually "coaching". That is probably an upgrade from this previous staff. 

Maybe we will see a reduction in all of the penalties we take.

Meet Jeff & Sara Scott. Southerners for sure. 

With today's recruits, I am not sure 1977 hit "I Go Crazy" by Paul Davis will go over too well but I like it.

• Willie was the safe hire (because he had the most recent success in similar circumstances), although he obviously burned bridges for some
• The Clemson guys were the traditional ‘get a high profile coordinator’ pick (high risk high reward due to less experience) 
• Jim was the one in a million, polarizing wild card (super energize the base while also alienating some ppl who believed the accusations)
• Larry Scott was the feel good hire for everyone (While Willie/Leavitt had baggage and could never make everyone happy, Larry had no such obstacles and could have had people rally around him as the first player coach)

I want to like the hire, so I’m going to have to wait for some story to come out and wow me...

I'm with the OP.  I know I should be excited about this hire and I hope he does well, but I'm a little bummed right now.  I honestly know nothing about Jeff Scott so let's see what he can do.
