How will it get done, officially?

Set the emotions aside.  Utilize unnamed sources and "only rumor" if you choose.

What will we SEE not what do we HOPE for?

What will be the final outcome?

If I need to add an option to replace "Other", I shall.

Unfortunately, I think we are going to succumb to the pressure of the loud minority and shy away from hiring Leavitt. My heart says CJL but I think we will get either Tony Elliott or Larry Scott.

The pro-rehiring-Leavitt people have been by far the loudest and overwhelming.

Is this fact or your opinion?

MK has kept this under wraps.  How can anybody know unless you are totally on the "inside".

And that's what bugs me....lazy work....will just take one or the other....   And whichever one we take, wait 3-4 years to see if he's a failure or moving on to the P5.

We HAVE to build an internal pipeline of coaches to have some stability.  A HC ready to develop his replacement when he retires and moves into admin.  Hire from within and have continuity in a program.  A rental coach likely raids the staff when he leaves and we start over.  This is where I see the problem.  I know, others chime in "If he leaves us he left us better than he found us".  Garbage.  Leaves us at another restart.

That said, I expect USF will go the way it has gone in the past and we'll have the best available rental coach when it is all said and done.

Dark horse will be KB to HC in my opinion....Kelly can keep some continuity that way....

Who knows.

This is my opinion and is not based on any sources, named or unnamed, within or outside of the USF Athletic facility.  I think I've seen this act already.

Fact. This coaching search is real tight though.

That's two choices, you have to pick one.  :)   Larry Scott would be USF Alum on poll

Either of the Clemson twins obviously the next selection

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
