Did anyone really think that MK would make his first football hire ever CJL 2.0?  Use your head not your heart.

That would be the saving grace to all of this...give him the DC job and when Scott leaves in 2 years, CJL can elevate to HC...one can dream, right?

I don’t think CJL has much time for that. Leavitt is now 63.

The only way I could’ve seen it is both Scott’s turned MK down and he was onto plan C or so.
