Zero conference championships played for. .... but yet, some are acting like CWT was our savior. I just don’t get it. We can do better. I’m frankly pretty shocked at the level of support for Willie on here. No freaking way do I want him back. It would be a terrible, terrible decision. SMH. Dude looks like a deer in the headlights on the sidelines. He nearly destroyed the program until he let his old high school coach run things. I’d rather hire Joe Kinnan. He’s the brains of the operation. JUST SAY NO TO SLICK WILLIE! I think Mike Kelly is way too smart to make this move. Beat it Willie! And he'll, if we can get him on the cheap with an incentive-laden contract then I'm all for it. Edited December 4, 2019 by Bull Nut

I'd rather not have Willie, but if you throw out his first year(Holtz recruits) and include Strong's first year(Willie's recruits) he was 33-17. Taggart, 43, has made it clear to friends and peers he badly wants to return to his former gig, this time for the long haul. Publicly, he has remained mostly mum since being dismissed at FSU in early November, where he amassed a 9-12 record in less than two seasons.
