If they can win a conference championship I don't care where they come from.

GO BULLS!

Almost just as important, maybe even more so, if they can get the TB area more interested in USF football I don’t care where they come from ...

New thought given the Steve Spurrier Jr. interest:

Spurrier Jr. and Sr. packaged deal, with Spurrier Jr. as the head coach, and Spurrier Sr. in the senior analyst position.

The OBC needs to come in as HC. Not sure I’m that keen on Jr coming in as  coach in waiting but someone would need to ...

I want him at HC as well, but I'd settle for the Jr. and Sr. package. Either way he would boost interest and help fundraising.

Since the hc is really the face of the program I think that’s where he would need to come in initially. The other would be okay but just not as effective IMO.

Sorry I would need the old man as HC for at least three years

Reports online that Lane Kiffin is not showing up at his scheduled coach's radio show tonight. Rumor is that he may be accepting the job at Ole Miss or Arkansas.

what unemployed coach who has a son that is a WR coach wouldn't want to get paid millions here and set his kid up for future employment?

I bet bobby bowden would step in if it meant his sons could get the job.

oh and you have no idea if spurrier has shown interest in the job.

just because some blogger says that his sources tell him doesn't make it a fact.

AND you have no idea he didn't. AND no blogger, anywhere, has suggested ANY unemployed coach with a WR coach son wanting the job other than Spurrier. I'm ok with not liking the idea, but stop being such an ass about it.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
