As far as CJL (yes, I was around from the beginning), but still, even without the crazy situation surrounding his firing, we would have let him go eventually, not a single 10 win season or conference championship.

Romanticizing the past is not healthy.      

I agree.  No reason to go backwards.

I love what CJL did for us to start up the program.  He was the right guy for the job in our infancy and he did great in the early years to bring us up. 

But not anymore.  Its time to move forward.

Conjecture ..... Fact: He was one game away from playing for a conf championship. The lengths some go to down play what he did by rebuilding the program after Skip supposedly "destroyed" it is laughingly sad.
