I just don't see anyone staying long term if they are winning at the highest level. It would not even be in my top 20 factors. 

The only exception was the guy whose baby this was.  No one else will have that connection.

I agree with that. However, the next time USF finds a coach that gets us back to 10 wins let’s hope we don’t hire the replacement coach that wants to slow the offense down. CCS should have been shown the door the first day when he mentioned that BS

I think this is boiling down to that.  But it will take courage.....something I haven't seen in ten years.

Good coaches fit their system to the talents of the players. CCS is a case study in the opposite. Throwing away all the growth for no reason other than his own ego and inability to adapt to a different system his players could use.

So he ran a program for 6 weeks and you are ready to give him the keys? He was N O coordinator for a year and did not go so well. His resume is a little light for this job.

way light for the job. He is a TE coach with 1 year OC where he failed and an interim gig.

I would support the hire of Larry Scott and feel it could be a long term hire, would need the right coordinators but Im all for it
