Was what happened yesterday some sort of surprise? How could anything that happened yesterday have had ANY impact on the decision that he needed more than 5 minutes after the whistle? The fact that he isn't already gone means he was never gone.

Umm not nessarily.  There has been no announcement one way or the other.  Kelly has to publicly address it because of all the speculation.  Kelly has been quiet for the week leading up to the game which tells me is trying to find a way to pay for this mess and bring in his own guy.  Problem is we may have to wait another year.

Maybe Kelly was thinking if we beat ucf he was staying regardless. Maybe the money to fire was not there before Saturday. Maybe the new president finally got involved. Who knows? My guess is that he says.

You are reaching, if he actually thought we had a chance to win yesterday than he needs to go as well.  If he stays I really won’t blame Kelly, if you don’t have the money than you don’t have the money.

And that could totally be the case.. weird there hasn’t been a “he’s my guy” release, though.

Which is another option. He may have already done his due diligence and decided that we can’t fire him. I hope he goes but I am not sure it’s going to happen because of the dollars. Would love, love, love to be wrong and we clean house.

We all would, the thought of this turd sticking around a year or two more will set the program back to a level it may not recover from.

That's because, although it is a word, the use of it is frowned upon.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
