He claims that he gives full reign to his coordinators, and has chosen to be a "CEO" style head coach. So then what is his value to the program?

He shuts out the media.

He doesn't engage in the community.

He doesn't fund raise.

Recruiting is average.

Same. If we were winning he could give us the bird on the way to the locker room every game and I could care less. Winning solves all of life’s problems.

His lack of engagement with the community is a killer as we need the PR. The best at that was Skippy so I don’t know if I want to go too far with that but right now it’s at 0.

I would be willing to ignore most of that as long as he won more games. I don’t blame him for hiding right now with the way things are going

Agree with the winning games sentiment, but he has stood at the podium and used some of the issues listed as problems with the program; hard to recruit with no ipf, and no community support are 2 that stick out to me.

So really we are just paying for the Charlie Strong brand, and it's grossly overvalued.
