Serious question....what are these "things thats happened that people don't realize" that KB is referring to here? What could have happened that we don't realize that would have made this season much different?

Could he be referring to:

  • Ford being suspended
  • an unknown reason for the Blake Barnett injury
  • the OL was mysteriously better during the spring and weekly practice
  •  he's just trying to buy time

It all goes back to the OL in my mind. Besides Mayes, this OL is the same as 2018.

I’ll wait for Puc to respond.  It should be quite entertaining.

The only thing we need to realize is that he returned the 14th most percentage of point scores in the country and he managed to take the offense that was 70th in the country to 113th. Every team has injuries, every team has adversity, and every team loses players. Losers always whine about their best. Winners go home and **** the prom queen. You were hired to make something better and found a way to make it exponentially worse so fix it or stfu and let us find someone that can, G-d I would love for him to enumerate the adversity he has faced that was so much worse than the rest of the college football world and is not directly related to him and the decisions he has made in systematically setting back college football offenses 100 years.

Our top two running backs are hurt, our starting QB from last year is hurt, we’re starting another freshman QB who has been hurt and is hurt again, Macon is probably out again, and Evans, another backup QB, was also hurt for multiple games. No, teams don’t usually have it THIS bad. And before you go spewing about how Barnett was pulled out anyways, we’re talking after 1 1/2 games. Let’s also not forget that this was a lot of these guys 3rd offense in 4 seasons. For Barnett, it was his 2nd offense in about a year. You seem to be expecting perfection no matter what. Everyone’s patience is on thin ice, you’re not special to that, but don’t act like Bell has all the pieces there to succeed right away when that’s not reality.

nobody expects success right away. just incremental improvement. haven't seen it.

Under a new coordinator with multiple hurt players and none of his that he’s brought in. Yeah that makes sense.

yes it does make sense. if he were a good coach you would see improvement throughout the year regardless of the situation.

I'm not saying they should look like the Kurt Warner led Rams just that they would be better at the end of the year than at the beginning.

KB has done a flat out awful job this season.  He has nowhere to go but up if he is still here next year.
