I am no CWT fan and I was pretty pissed at the way he left but even I don't like how this could shape up.

He only had a "nine-page letter of agreement"  apparently similar what happened to Gillespie at Kentucky where he only wound up getting half his money. 

The deal didn't spell out what "firing for cause" or define the types of other jobs he could take that would not trigger FSU to stop paying him.

Read the article when you get a second but he is likely not coaching (or pumping gas) in the near future until this gets sorted out.

I just read the article too. Sounds like Willie should have had a lawyer bugging FSU for a real contract every day until he got one. Talk about possibly losing a winning lottery ticket. Ouch!

There is no way that FSU gets out of this one. The MOU is enough to enforce. It lists a couple of examples of what would constitute "cause" and none other them come close to just having a mediocre record. Taggart and FSU would be wise to just settle out for slightly under what he is owed and just move on.
