In this conference offense wins games. They are high scoring. Also, everyone is trigger shy about hiring a defensive man due to Strong.

I think I prefer product differentiation instead of entering an arms race and hoping we miracle ourselves to out offense every other team. If everyone else is only built to win if they get to 50 there are more games to be won holding them to 30 then there is by hoping you get to 51.

Good point. I'd take the Ws however we can get them. I'd be ok trying with hiring a DC from somewhere....maybe a Manny Diaz-type...if they can win. Sacrificing a little excitement for some Ws works for me.
