Only a couple of years ago we talked about throwing teams out of the conference because they sucked. My how times have changed. Now USF is looking up at Tulane and SMU and only hoping to hold off ECU, which at this point I have my doubts. Such a pitiful state of affairs at USF.

With UConn gone, who becomes the perennial conference doormat?

Maybe no one. The conference got twice as strong with Uconn leaving. Teams come and go with success and failure and no one team will be permanently good or bad. A lot of this will have to do with coaching turnover. If you’re good you leave if you’re bad you get fired at some point.

This is a bizarre, but pretty much equaly competitive conference over time.  Everyone has had their ups and downs since this G5 1/2 / P6 experiment began.  I think that will continue as long as it's these 11 teams (and maybe +1 or +3).  Our waiver for the CCG is only 2 years so I assume we'll be looking to add at least one team for the 2022 season.  I wish we would just add Air Force, Army and Boise/BYU/Colorado State and be done with it.

GO BULLS!

@DELdaBull, I think it's good for us to stay in touch with reality.  :)

I'd hate for us to wake up one day and say "What the hell happened, everyone has passed us by."

<that's the sarcasm font, I think>
