Hopefully Mike Griffin knows how to make friends and influence people because he has already been vocal about this **** show and it has certainly not gotten any better since then.

Nope. But he will get sick of hearing about CCS. 

I don't think any one of them wants to make the payout to CCS and Co. at seasons end but I am starting to doubt they will want to deal with the constant negativity for 12 more months just to save essentially $2.6 million for one year.

Has Kelly ever fired a football Head Coach or any coach with a contract as extensive as Strong's?

Has Kelly effectively searched for and replaced a Football Head Coach with success?

My understanding is no... so there may be learning curve for him in this process as well.  Please correct me if I'm wrong.

You aren't wrong but he is a nice guy so I am sure everything will be just fine.

it's not brain surgery.

every hire will have an element of risk no matter how many times you have done it.

you try to increase your odds by doing your due diligence.

clearly hiring a defensive minded conservative coach who couldn't win at the wealthiest program in the country was not the best idea.

So both of you are sure that a) Kelly can't fire Strong because he's never fired Strong before, b) he can't hire a good coach because he's never hired a coach before, and b) he's nice, therefore, he can't fire Strong?
