How about combining the non usage of timeouts with the fact that the offense went into slow down mode rather than playing with the sense of urgency. Glad I did. Was a better life choice. Strong production and it has a great score and a great book. Not as good at the production with Topol about 10 years ago but still better than a home loss to Temple. I heard most of the 4th quarter on the drive home. Could not believe time outs were not called. Looking forward to reading this thread.

He didn't just throw in the towel on this game, the threw in the towel on this football program, the university, and worst and saddest of all, himself. Oh he knows he is done. That's why he doesn't GAF anymore. He is set for life with his contract and the only thing that he'll be hurting for is his ego but I think he's reached the Acceptance stage of Kubler-Ross over the death of his coaching career.

He will not change even if it means his job. He's got a fully garontied contract. He's going no where. Hopefully there will be no fully guaranteed contract for the next HC, no matter who it is. Just seems too risky for a school in our situation. Nobody is guaranteed to win here. Modest base pay, heavier on incentives. Hopefully we go that route. Earn your money.
