Wrong board.

No, that was a great story. It will definetly make the Tuesday Morning QB article this week.

I agree, it's a great story, but it has nothing to do with *USF* and thus should be in the general sports forum, not this one.  Which it already was.

Thanks for sharing it though, it's a great read.

I mentioned this at work and this guy says football players can this because it doesn't take conditioning to play football.  He says soccer players are better conditioned and all around athletes.  Am I within reason to think he's absurd or is there a legitmate argument?  IMO skilled football players are some of the world's fastest, strongest and close to the best conditioned.  Many play multiple sports.  I just roll my eyes at this idea.  He also thinks tennis players rate high athletically.  While I agree tennis players are athletic, IMO, football & basketball players are the greatest "pure" athletes.  But for speed & power, I don't know anything that compares w/football.

Soccer players may be the best conditioned if your talking about endurance, but there is no way that they are better athletes than football players.  I'd take Derrick Brooks over David Beckham anyday.

USF needs a home game next year and the Northwestern College Eagles need a 10th game, so...

Kizarvexis

Fulfilled the USF requirement. ;)
